Short Bio
Christin Katharina Kreutz is a tandem professor for Data Science in the Humanities working at TH Mittelhessen - University of Applied Sciences and Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe in the Digital Research and Information Infrastructures team. She did a 2 year postdoc at TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences in the Information Retrieval Research group lead by Prof. Dr. Philipp Schaer. In 2022 she completed her doctoral studies in Computer Science at Trier University under supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralf Schenkel with a thesis titled Information Systems on Bibliographic Metadata for Researchers.
Her general interests are information access systems and user behaviour/simulation. Christin's research questions are related to construction and evaluation of user interfaces, text simplification, scholarly recommendation, scientometrics, academic graphs and digital libraries.
