Christin Katharina Kreutz is a postdoctoral researcher at TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences in the Information Retrieval Research group lead by Prof. Dr. Philipp Schaer. In 2022 she completed her doctoral studies in Computer Science at Trier University under supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralf Schenkel with a thesis titled Information Systems on Bibliographic Metadata for Researchers.

In 2023-2024 Christin did a 4 month research visit with Prof. Dr. Ullrich Ecker at the University of Western Australia in the School of Psychological Science, in 2021 she did a 3 month research visit with Prof. Dr. Krisztian Balog at University of Stavanger.

Her general interests are information access systems and user behaviour/modelling. Christin's research questions are related to construction and evaluation of user interfaces, text simplification, scholarly recommendation, scientometrics, academic graphs and digital libraries.
